RAINSVILLE, Al. — The City of Rainsville is once again helping residents tidy up their properties with its Annual Spring Clean-Up event for sanitation customers.
Throughout the month of May, the city will provide free dumpster access for its monthly sanitation customers at the City Shop Building, located at 265 Wells Road in Rainsville.
The clean-up period will run from May 4 through May 30. Dumpsters will be available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
City officials remind residents that participants must bring proof of active sanitation service in order to use the dumpsters.
Certain items will not be accepted during the clean-up event. Prohibited items include tires, wires, batteries, wet paint, brush, and land debris.
The annual clean-up gives residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted items properly while helping improve the appearance of the community.
City leaders encourage residents to take part and do their part to help keep Rainsville clean and beautiful.
