Plainview Junior Beta Club Students Qualify for National Convention

Several students from the Plainview Junior Beta Club have qualified to attend the National Beta Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, this summer, giving them the opportunity to represent their school and community on a national stage.

The convention brings together Beta Club members from across the country to compete in academic events, leadership activities, and talent competitions. School officials said participation in the National Convention is a tremendous honor for the students, but the cost of travel, lodging, and registration can create a financial challenge for many families.

To help make the trip possible for all qualifying students, the Plainview Junior Beta Club is seeking support from local businesses and community partners. Donations of any amount are being accepted and will help students take part in what sponsors describe as a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Those interested in making a donation may contact Paige Brown at 256-605-4704 or email wbrown@dekalbk12.org
