One Traffic Fatality In Dekalb County Crash

According to Trooper Curtis Summerville, Public Information Officer, with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency a three-vehicle crash today, May 6, in DeKalb County has claimed one life and injured another.

Roger A. Pragit, 65 of Dawson was injured when the 2013 Toyota Camry he was driving struck a 2014 Ford F-150 before striking a 2018 Ford Transit head-on. Pragit was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the Ford Transit was also transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the F-150 was not injured. The crash occurred at 10:15 a.m. on Alabama 75 at the 70 mile marker just under a mile south of Geraldine.  Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash, and nothing further is available.
