Sylvania man charged with 12 counts of Sex Crimes

From the Office of DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden:

FORT PAYNE, Ala. — An investigation by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit and the 9th Circuit District Attorney’s Office and assistance of the Sylvania Police Department led to the arrest of Jerry Jason McKee (46 of Sylvania).

McKee was arrested on Tuesday September 20th at his residence on Blue Pond Blvd in Sylvania and charged with Sodomy 1st (x6), Child Abuse (x2) and Sexual Abuse 1st (x4). 

Bond is set for $640,000.00.

DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said of the incident: “These cases are tough on every end to work and require lots of time and precise information to acquire a solid case.  It’s great to have the support and assistance from the District Attorney’s Office on these types of crimes against the youth.”
