Harley is a trained Narcotics K-9 and will be utilized in helping officers locate Narcotics, helping to make cases which will aid in getting drugs out of the hands of those who are both using and distributing them, in order to make Rainsville safer for all of it’s citizens. Chief Michael Edmondson stated, “ This is a proactive step toward trying to make Rainsville a drug fee city. We want those who use and sell drugs in our city to know that we have zero tolerance for this type of activity in our city, and this is a great tool that we will use to make more drug cases and get them off our streets. We are proud of Sgt. Yarbrough and K-9 Harley for completing this training and we look forward to seeing them work together. Harley is a great addition to the Rainsville Police Department family.”
