Rainsville Police Department Makes Saturation Drug Arrests

News Release from Rainsville Police Department – March 15, 2021

On Thursday March 11 2020, Officers with Rainsville Police Department saturated the City of Rainsville in hopes to remove drugs and other illegal items from the streets. Officers visited residents inside the City Limits of Rainsville in which officers have received complaints of possible drug activity, such as heavy traffic volume in and out of homes, smells of possible drug use, etc.

Officers were able to arrest five on drug arrest, and a sixth for felony warrants with an outside agency. Arrested were: Jesse Jones Outlaw charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Receiving Stolen Property 4th. Arrested with Jesse Outlaw was Terrick Delayne Jones charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Receiving Stolen Property 4th. Adam Wesley Coots was arrested for Unlawful Possession of marijuana 2nd and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Kenneth Mcannely was arrested for two charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Arrested with McAnnely was Amanda Matthews charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Megan Neikcole Gamble was arrest on Outstanding Felony warrants for Chemical Endangerment of Child, and transported to Jackson County Jail. Confiscated was Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Illegal Steroids, several Items used as paraphernalia and stolen street signs from throughout the City of Rainsville, Including Stop signs, street signs, street work signs, etc. Chief Edmondson stated that he is proud of the work of his officers and wants to encourage the citizens of Rainsville if they see something that needs to be checked out please let us know. “If You see something say something!”
