Noah White Throws Shutout as Bears Defeat Fyffe

Noah White had all the right stuff on Thursday for Bears (Varsity), allowing zero runs and besting Fyffe by a score of 14-0.


Bears (Varsity) opened up scoring in the first inning, when Ethan Williams singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Bears (Varsity) scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Levi Brown, John Mathis Arnold, Williams, and Connor Davis each drove in runs during the inning.
One bright spot for Fyffe was a single by Aubrey Baker in the third inning.


White pitched Bears (Varsity) to victory. White surrendered zero runs on one hit over five innings, striking out 11 and walking one.
Yahir Balcazar took the loss for Fyffe. The pitcher allowed four hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out five.


Bears (Varsity) racked up eight hits in the game. Williams, Logan Payne, and Braden Haymon each racked up multiple hits for Bears (Varsity). Haymon, Payne, and Williams each collected two hits to lead Bears (Varsity).


Baker led Fyffe with one hit in three at bats.
