Heroin Arrest Made In Section by Jackson County Sheriff’s Office

Section/Jackson County Sheriff’s Office – Heroin Arrest


On August 8, 2019, Section Police Department Officer Robert Mcintire responded to a call of a unresponsive male subject at business on Alabama Hwy 35 in Section, AL.


When Officer Mcintire arrived he observed a male subject slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle with a loaded syringe in his lap. Officer Mcintire requested assistance from the Jackson County Narcotics Unit. During a search of the subject Officer Mcintire located several syringes.
When the Narcotics Unit arrived they located a small quantity of Heroin and Methamphetamine (ICE) in the vehicle.

Arrested in connection with this investigation was Tyson James Henshaw age 29 of Section, AL., who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Heroin), Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Henshaw was transported to the Jackson County Jail without incident and remains in custody. Bond has not yet been set.
