FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The streets of downtown Fort Payne will come alive Saturday, June 20, as the Third Saturday Sunset Cruise-In returns with classic cars, live music, family fun and community connection.
The event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Fort Payne and will feature cars and trucks on display, vendors, live entertainment, shopping, restaurants, a Kidz Zone, pony rides and more.
Organizers describe the event as a chance to enjoy an evening downtown while reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.
Live music will also be part of the evening’s activities. According to the City of Fort Payne’s event listing, Overdrive John Sells is scheduled to perform on the Main Stage, while Wesley Faulk is scheduled to perform at the Coal & Iron Building.
The Third Saturday Sunset Cruise-In is part of a seasonal series held in downtown Fort Payne, with events listed for select third Saturdays from April through October.
Event organizers encourage residents and visitors to come early, enjoy the vehicles, visit downtown businesses and take part in an evening of entertainment in the heart of Fort Payne.
