CCA (Cornerstone Christian Academy) of Rainsville, Al. competed in the First Annual ACAA Invitational Bass Tournament on May 3, 2019. The tournament was held at Higgins Ferry Marina, at Mitchell Lake, in Clanton, AL. CCA had four students to participate in the tournament, Layne Fortner and Saxon Cloud (10th graders) were in one boat with captain Jason Hawkins. Clay Love and Caleb Hilley (11th grade) were in another boat with captain Chris Davis. The team won 2nd place for most combined team weight. Clay Love also won 1st place for the largest bass caught in the largemouth category.
