According to the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department “Approximately 2:30 pm yesterday, Wednesday, February 5, 2020, we received a report that a green passenger car was swept over the bridge on County Road 173 on the Little Sauty River in Buck’s Pocket State Park. ALEA has since taken over the investigation and no sign of the vehicle or driver has yet to be found. Due to the rainfall, recovery efforts have not been possible today.”
