Bears Falls to Randolph School After Fifth Inning Score

Bears (Varsity) lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat to Randolph School on Thursday. The game was tied at one with Bears (Varsity) batting in the top of the fifth when Noah White tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Bears (Varsity) got things moving in the first inning. Braden Haymon drew a walk, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Randolph School tied things up at three when Alex Roberson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

#12 led the Randolph School to victory on the mound. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and two-thirds innings, walking one.

Haymon took the loss for Bears (Varsity). The pitcher surrendered two runs on three hits, walking zero.

Sam Crowell started the game for Bears (Varsity). The lefthander allowed five hits and two runs over six innings, striking out eight Frederick Wessel started the game for Randolph School. Wessel allowed five hits and three runs over four and a third innings, striking out four.

John Mathis Arnold went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bears (Varsity) in hits.

Randolph School racked up eight hits. Roberson and Garrett Day each collected multiple hits for Randolph School.
