Arrest Made In FTC Telephone substation Burglary

In the evening hours of 8 April 2020, Rainsville police department was dispatched to the Farmers Telephone substation on Everett road, that was burglarized. The suspect was caught on video and an image was given to Rainsville Police Department. The investigation began and led to a Dalton Joshua Adams of Rainsville. On 9 April 2020, Mr. Adams voluntarily came to Rainsville police Department and gave a statement. He was subsequently arrested and charged for Burglary 3rd, criminal mischief 3rd and criminal trespass. No property was taken and the damage to the building and equipment was estimated to be under $500.00. Chief Smith would like to thank the citizens that called in and help identify Mr. Adams. Rainsville police department had posted the image on Facebook, which led to his identification and arrest. During the pandemic Rainsville police are still actively working and maintain the rule of law.
