HUNTSVILLE POST – At 4:16 a.m. April 23, ALEA State Troopers were requested by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a fatal vehicle crash that occurred on Pleasant Grove Road. Marshall County Deputies were pursuing a stolen vehicle and lost sight of the vehicle. Deputies later found the vehicle had ran off of the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has been identified Christopher Chad Petty, 40, of Texas. Nothing is further as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
