Ider, AL. – The Lady Hornets have proven that hard work, dedication, and a whole lot of determination can propel a team to the top. With their outstanding performance throughout the season, they have earned the coveted #1 seed in the area tournament and the privilege of hosting the upcoming showdown on Tuesday. The community is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to cheer them on in their quest to advance to Super Regionals.
Head Coach, Sharlyn Huber, couldn’t be prouder of the team’s accomplishments. “These young women have shown tremendous growth and dedication throughout the season,” she commented. “They’ve come together as a unit, supported each other, and pushed their limits. The #1 seed and hosting the area tournament is a testament to their hard work.”
The Lady Hornets will face stiff competition in the area tournament, as other talented teams will be vying for the same Super Regionals spot.
The excitement is palpable as the Lady Hornets gear up for their home game on Tuesday and take on North Sand Mountain in game one.
