Stevenson Depot Days 2026 Set for Week of Community Events, Music and Family Fun

STEVENSON, Ala. — The City of Stevenson is preparing to welcome residents and visitors for Depot Days 2026, a week-long celebration featuring community events, food, music, entertainment and family activities in downtown Stevenson.

Depot Days activities are scheduled to begin Saturday, June 6, and continue through Saturday, June 13, with events planned at locations throughout the city, including Main Street, Stevenson City Park, Dogwood Hills in Flat Rock and the 117 Boat Dock. FestivalNet lists the event as free to attend and identifies the City of Stevenson as the promoter.

The celebration begins Saturday, June 6, with an all-day Community Yard Sale on Main Street. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis through Stevenson City Hall. A Fishing Tournament is also scheduled that day at the 117 Boat Dock, located at 117 Snodgrass Bridge, running from first safe light until 1 p.m. Early registration is available through June 5.

Events continue Tuesday, June 9, with the Chamber Breakfast at 302 West beginning at 7:30 a.m. Later that evening, an Ice Cream, Cake Walk and Live Music event will be held on Main Street beginning at 6 p.m.

On Wednesday, June 10, local churches will host Gospel Night in downtown Stevenson beginning at 6 p.m. The evening will include worship music and a free dinner sponsored by area churches.

Comedy and games will highlight Thursday, June 11, at Stevenson City Park. A Stand-Up Comedy showcase is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Mack Morris Amphitheater, followed by Bingo Night in the park at 6 p.m.

Friday, June 12, will begin early with the Pioneer Breakfast, hosted by the Calvary Baptist Youth Group at Phillip’s Place beginning at 6 a.m. The 8th Annual Depot Days Golf Tournament will also be held Friday at Dogwood Hills in Flat Rock, with registration beginning at noon and tee time set for 1 p.m. The annual Depot Days Auction is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Main Street.

Friday evening will also feature a live performance by country artist Linda Davis in downtown Stevenson. The published Depot Days schedule lists the performance for 7:30 p.m., while concert listings for the Stevenson Railroad Depot Museum show Linda Davis scheduled in Stevenson on June 12, 2026.

Depot Days will wrap up Saturday, June 13, with a full day of activities. Parade lineup begins at 9 a.m. at Stevenson Middle School, followed by the opening ceremony and the parade through Main Street at 10 a.m. Live entertainment throughout the day is scheduled to include Valley Trail Riders, Loretta Jent, Kimberly Goins, Angela Carter, Tim Chastain, Southern Harmony, Cody Cookston and Kenny Berry.

The celebration will conclude Saturday night with a Street Dance featuring the band Self Inflicted Wound from 8 p.m. until midnight on Main Street.

Depot Days is centered around Stevenson’s railroad heritage and historic downtown. North Alabama Electric Cooperative notes that the historic Stevenson Depot was built in 1872 and later converted into the Stevenson Railroad Depot Museum, which opened in 1982.
