SEVERE WEATHER threat for the entire state of Alabama and Mississippi for today, Monday, August 30, 2021. The threat for a few Tornadoes, in association with Hurricane Ida, will persist through today, Monday August 30th, across portions of the Southeast U.S., where a tornado-driven Slight risk has been maintained. This threat will move eastward on Tuesday.A few tornadoes remain possible through tonight across southeast Mississippi, southern Alabama, and the western Florida Panhandle in association with Tropical Cyclone Ida. Scattered severe storms with very large hail and significant damaging winds are possible across portions of the northern and central Great Plains through tonight.
