The Plainview Bears remain at #3 in the ASWA rankings this week. The Bears (20-5) on the season come in behind #1 ranked Piedmont (24-4) and #2 Trinity (21-3). Plainview has won their last four games, since last weeks rankings were released. Plainview defeated Sylvania, in a two game sweep, to clinch the Area title. Plainview then defeated Cherokee County 13-2 and Cedar Bluff 15-2.
Today will start the Dekalb County Baseball Tournament, hosted at Crossville High School. Plainview will play Crossville at 4:00 PM.
