Marshall County EMA to host a Local Volunteer and Donations Management training.

The Governor’s Office of Volunteer Services, along with the Alabama Volunteer and Donations Coordination Team, is hosting Local Volunteer and Donations Management training in Marshall County.

Local Volunteer and Donations Management training is designed to strengthen the abilities of local jurisdictions to successfully prepare for and handle volunteer and donations management issues that arise during disasters.

Training will include Volunteer Registration Center (VRC) training. VRC training will prepare participants to staff VRCs that will register and place spontaneous volunteers in times of disaster.

Training is open to anyone who will be involved in or would like to be involved in local donation management and/or volunteer registration during disaster recovery.

Location: Marshall County EMA, 3550 Creek Path Road, Guntersville.


Local Volunteer and Donations Management Training: April 2-3, 2019, and

VRC Training: April 4, 2019.

There is no cost but you must register to attend this training.
