Jackson County Drug Arrest of Rainsville Woman for Meth

Jackson County Drug Arrest/Meth Seizure
On the evening of August 1, 2019, “off-duty” Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Randy Arnold observed a vehicle driving in an erratic manner on AL Highway 40 toward Scottsboro, AL.   Deputy Arnold contacted the Sheriff’s Office and Deputy Andrew Cowart along with a Scottsboro Police Department Officer conducted a traffic stop on Highway 71 near County Park Road.  The driver, Denise Michelle Boman, age 45 of Rainsville, AL. was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.  During a search of the vehicle Deputies located approximately 30 grams of Methamphetamine (ICE), and drug paraphernalia.  BOWMAN was transported to the Jackson County Jail where additional drug paraphernalia was located.  BOWMAN was charged with DUI, Possession of Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Promoting Prison Contraband.  Bond was set at $32,300 and Bowman remains in custody.
