On Thursday September 13, 2019, at approximately 1:00 am, members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Patrol Division, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Alabama Highway 40 and Jackson County Road 322 in Henegar, AL. During this stop, Deputies observed small quantity of Marijuana inside the vehicle and conducted search. During this search Deputies located and seized approximately 2 pounds of Marijuana, a small amount of Heroin, Drug Paraphernalia and $3,858.00 US Currency. Both occupants, Damion Doral DRAKE age 30 of Huntsville, AL. and Latasha Nicole BANKS age 35 of Huntsville, AL. were arrested and charged as follows:
DRAKE- Possession of Marijuana 1st degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is set at $2,800
BANKS- Possession of Controlled Substances-Heroin, Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is set at $7,800
