GADSDEN POST–At approximately 9:48 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, a tree that has fallen across the roadway has caused road blockage. The northbound lanes of Interstate 59 near the 199 mile marker is currently closed and will be for an undetermined amount of time. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
