Ider High School Has to Cancel Two Games & Move Homecoming, Due to COVID-19

According to a news release from Ider High School, the football game scheduled for tonight against Tanner has been canceled, along with next weeks games against Section, due to COVID-19. The new release is posted below.

To the Ider School Parents and Community:

During this trying time, the Ider School community has stood together and supported one another. Ider School is very appreciative of the encouragement and strength. Unfortunately, the challenges keep coming.

Due to COVID-19, the Ider football team must cancel the following games:

September 11, 2020 – Tanner

September 18, 2020 – Section

Homecoming has moved to October 2, 2020 against Victory Christian. The school will have a Community Pep Rally at 2:00 PM on October 2, 2020 at the football field. There will be no parade due to Dekalb County School COVID-19 safety measured. There will be no make-up of event if it rains.

Again, we thank you for your support and understanding

Sincerely,

Ider Staff
