Hurricane Ida is now a tropical depression, as of the 7 am update this morning, Ida was located over Southwestern Mississippi. The storm track with take the remnants of Ida through Mississippi and across the North Alabama and Tennessee. This system will bring locally heavy rainfall, with Flash Flood Watches already posted for most of North Alabama.
The entire state of Alabama is in a Marginal Risk for Severe weather today, due to Ida. This could be some Severe Thunderstorms, along with a few Tornadoes, across the state. Remain weather alert and especially watch for Flash Flooding Monday afternoon into Tuesday evening.
