Henagar woman charged with trafficking in methamphetamine

FORT PAYNE, Ala. – On Thursday, July 13th, 2023, DeKalb County Narcotics, along with Jackson County Narcotics conducted a search warrant on County Road 322 in Henagar.  After a joint investigation into trafficking activities, agents found Hollie Jamaica Hall to be in possession of a pound of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, several weapons and an undisclosed amount of US currency.  Hall was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail where she was charged with Dangerous Drugs-Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Weapons – AFI or POAFA Altering Firearm Identification or Possession of Altered Firearm.  Bond for Hall was set at $28,000.00.

DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said of the incident: “I would like to thank the DeKalb County Narcotics Unit and Jackson County Narcotics Unit for working together to get this poison off of the streets.  This is a great example of why having a good working relationship with our neighboring agencies is so important.  And we are so thankful that we have these relationships.”
