FPPD charge juvenile with multiple counts

On March 26th at approximately 8:10 pm a fourteen year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was taken into custody by the Fort Payne Police Department and agents of the Dekalb County Drug Task Force Chief Randy Bynum reported.  The juvenile was charged with three counts of Theft of Property 1st degree, one count Theft of Property 4th degree, one count of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle and three counts of Imitation of a Controlled Substance. These charges stem from the 14 year old stealing three vehicles and joying riding in them, breaking in one vehicle and taking a hand gun, and having in his possession three different types of imitation controlled substances.  All of these crimes occurred in the Sequoyah trailer park area. All the vehicles were recovered by the Fort Payne Police. Chief Bynum ask that you please remember to take your keys out of your car and keep them locked.
