GADSDEN POST—A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:44 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, has claimed the life of a Centre man. Joel L. Kiser, 68, was fatally injured when the 1994 Chevrolet 1500 that he was a passenger in, was struck by a 2015 Jeep Wrangler driven by Shellie M. Ingram, 50, of Centre. After the initial impact, the Chevrolet left the roadway and overturned. Kiser was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Ingram and the driver of the Jeep, David W. Moon, 62, also of Centre, were both injured and transported to Floyd Medical Center, in Rome Ga. for treatment. Moon was not using a seat belt at the time of crash.
