Dekalb County Revenue Offices Closed Due to Covid-19

According to a statement released by Tyler Wilks, Dekalb County Revenue Commissioner, The Dekalb County Revenue Offices are closed due to Covid-19. The Rainsville, Alabama office was closed around December 8, 2020 and would be closed at least through January 3, 2021.

Now in the latest statement, the Fort Payne office will also closed.

“Over the past 2 weeks, following a positive Covid test from our office, we have ran split staff in order to prevent a spread. However, we have had additional positive cases as well as staff with sick children. In an effort to further prevent additional cases we will have to close the office beginning tomorrow Friday December 18th through Christmas week. We hope to be back Monday Dec 28th. Additionally, we will waiving late penalties through January 17th.”
