June 6, 2023 News Release:
Governor Kay Ivey has authorized Monday, June 19, 2023 as a holiday for state employees. Juneteenth is a new federal holiday celebrating the end of slavery in the United States. She has declared all State offices to be closed.
As President of the DeKalb County Commission, I do hereby authorize June 19, 2023 as a DeKalb County Holiday.
