Christopher Pullen charged with murder for the deaths of two victims

On Monday, November 15, 2021, a preliminary hearing was held in the Cherokee County Courthouse in the presence of the Honorable Judge Wes Mobley with Summer McWhorter Summerford present for the District Attorney’s Office, where Christopher Pullen was charged with murder for the deaths of two victims, Truvenia Campbell, age 32 of Rome, GA and Vanita Richardson, age 20, also of Rome, GA. Preliminary hearings were also held on Monday, November 22, 2021 for Desmond Brown and Devin Watts, both having been charged with capital murder for the deaths of Campbell and Richardson. Pullen, Brown, and Watts are accused of killing the two victims over a misplaced wallet and dumping their bodies off a bridge in Rome.

At the preliminary hearings, probable cause was found by the Judge and all three cases were bound over to the Grand Jury.
