FORT PAYNE, Ala. — On Thursday, October 26th, Geraldine Police Department responded to Bethel Baptist Church on County Road 391 in regards to a Burglary in which a male subject had broken into Bethel Baptist Church through a side window. The case was then forwarded to the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and after identifying the male subject and the vehicle used in the Burglary. Cody Alan Ramsey (30 of Boaz) was arrested for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 4th. Assistance by Geraldine Police Department and Albertville Police Department was vital in bringing this case to a close.
DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said of the incident: “Thanks to the quick response from all Agencies involved, this criminal was apprehended. I could never express, to ALL the men and women in Law Enforcement, just how appreciative I am for the hard work and dedication they put into their jobs.”
