Adult Education Graduation Is This Wednesday

NEWS RELEASE

The Northeast Alabama Adult Education Program will have its annual Adult Education Graduation for recipients of the GED® credential and the Non-Traditional High School Diploma on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Dekalb County Schools Coliseum in Rainsville.  The graduation will honor all GED® and Non-Traditional High School Diploma recipients from DeKalb, Jackson and Marshall Counties. Through adult education, many individuals have had the opportunity to get a high school equivalency credential, which has enabled them to secure or upgrade their employment or attend college or career training. The Adult Education Graduation ceremony is one way to express congratulations to those students who have worked so hard to accomplish their goals.

Any adult (including those who did not attend adult education classes) who has successfully completed the GED® Test or received a Non-Traditional High School Diploma and has not previously participated in a graduation is invited to be a part of this ceremony, but preregistration is required.  All family and friends are also welcome to attend the graduation exercises.  Those interested in participating in the Adult Education Graduation or anyone needing more information should contact the Northeast Alabama Adult Education Program at 256-638-2957 or 256-228-0021. The Adult Education Program is operated and managed by Northeast Alabama Community College.
