The Plainview Bears (23-5) have been on winning streak since last weeks ASWA rankings were released and maintain their #3 position this week in the final poll of the season. The Bears beat Collinsville 19-0, Geraldine 1-0, and Ider 8-1 and claimed the Dekalb County Baseball Championship.
The Bears are Class 3A, Area 14 Champions, going 5-0 in area action, by defeating Fyffe and Sylvania.
Plainview (23-5) will host the Ohatchee Chiefs (10-13), the Class 3A Area 11 runner up, Friday, April 22, 2022. Game one will be played at 5:00 pm, game two at 7:00 pm, and game three, if needed, on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
Everyone be sure to come out and “Pack the Stadium” and cheer on the Plainview Bears, on the quest for a State title this year.
