Brinley Summerford, a 5th grader from Plainview High School, placed 2nd in the State of Alabama’s Arbor Day Poster Contest. As one of the top winners in the State, Brinley traveled to Montgomery, Al. today and helped Governor Kay Ivey plant a Blue Ice Arizona Cypress tree at the State Capital.
Brinley also received a shovel signed by Governor Ivey, got to tour the State House, and meet with House Majority Leader Nathaniel Ledbetter.
