The Dekalb County Board of Education, in their meeting on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, hired Joey Haymon as the new Assistant Career Tech Director. Mr. Haymon transfers from Sylvania High School, where for the past seven years he has directed the Sylvania Agriscience and FFA programs into one of the best in the state. Jonathon Phillips, Career Tech Director, stated, “We are excited having Mr. Haymon in this leadership role and look forward to working with him as we strive to become the best CTE District”.
