According to Trooper Curtis Summerville, Public Information Officer with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, A single-vehicle crash Wednesday, April 3, in Marshall County has claimed the life of a Guntersville teen. A 16-year-old teen was killed when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a bridge and overturned. The teen driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 2:20 p.m. on Horton Road four miles north of Douglas. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash, and nothing further is available.
