DeKalb County Republican Party

The Qualifying period for all elected candidates for the Dekalb County positions in the Republican Primary opens on January 12th and will run thru January 23rd 2026. All candidates that are interested in running for the upcoming terms will need to meet with Party Chairman David Gulledge to file the forms to be on the ballot in the May 19th Primary election.
Also, all of the 32 elected positions on the Dekalb County Republican Executive Committee will be up for election as well. There are 7 seats in each of the 4 Commission Districts and 4 county-wide positions.
Chairman Gulledge will be located at the Dekalb County Probate Judge’s Courtroom on Monday January 12th and Tuesday the 13th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. He will also be there on the January 23rd for the closing day of qualifying.
