WVSM radio would like to thank Nick Hall for being “The Voice of the Plainview Bears.” Nick announced all of the Plainview Football and Basketball games on the Plainview Sports Network, Rejoice 103.1 FM and online at www.wvsmfm.com. Nick does an outstanding job, and we appreciate all of his hard work. Many people have asked why Nick will not be calling the Basketball State Finals in Birmingham, Al. The simple answer: The AHSAA does not allow radio stations to send their own crews to broadcast the Finals in Birmingham, Al. The AHSAA requires all radio stations to carry the AHSAA Radio Network feed. Although Nick Hall will not announce the championship games, he is still “The Voice of the Plainview Bears.” To paraphrase Nick’s game sign-off statement, his announcing time is up for this year and we thank yours.
