Sunday, May 15, 2022 was U.S. Peace Officers Memorial Day and a ceremony was held at the First Responders Memorial in Rainsville, Al. This year the first ever First Responders Scholarship was awarded to Gracie Devlin. Gracie is the daughter of Tech School SRO Deputy Tim Devlin.
The scholarship was set up this year by Representative Nathaniel Ledbetter and Senator Steve Livingston in conjunction with Northeast Alabama Community College to support the education of a first responder’s child to honor their service! Gracie plans on majoring in early childhood development! Congratulations!
