The Fyffe Lady Red Devils varsity volleyball team defeated the Ider hornets, in the Class 2A, Area 15 Championship game, to claim the Area 15 title. Fyffe 3, Ider 1 (16-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-16). Three Red Devils made “All Area”, Kaitlyn Woodall – senior, Emily Webb – sophomore, and Bella Tettis – junior.
The Lady Red Devils will begin competition in the AHSAA North Super Regional Tournament in Huntsville, Al. The tournament is being held at the VBC, and the Lady Red Devils will take on Sumiton Christian, in round one, Friday at 9:00 a.m.
Students that attend the tournament game in Huntsville, will be excused if they bring back a ticket stub with their name on it to serve as the absence note.
