Fort Payne’s Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be July 2th at 9:00 pm. This year the fireworks will be choreographed to music broadcast during the actual shooting of the fireworks on local radio stations.
No one will be allowed in the sports complex, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone will have to watch from their cars, wherever they are at. You can tune your radios to WVSM 103.1 FM, WZOB 1250 AM, Wild County 98.3 FM or The Torch 101.7 FM, to listen to the choreographed music while the fireworks display is occurring.
Fort Payne Mayor Larry Chesser stated, “Those who haven’t been coming to the actual event have missed out on a very good part of the show. We encourage everyone to participate.”
