Title: Officer Arrest
Chief David Davis States:
Earlier this morning, Chief David Davis was notified of the arrest of Johnny Brown, an officer with the Fort Payne Police Department. This incident occurred outside the city limits at a residence in the county. The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office is handling the arrest and investigation into the incident. This department is cooperating fully with this investigation. Officer Brown has been suspended pending the results of the investigation of the Sheriff’s Office and internally with this department.
