Title: Burglary
Chief Detective Josh York States:
On Thursday September 12 at approximately 10:01 pm Fort Payne Dispatch received a call from an individual regarding a male subject being inside a residence in the 700 block of Godfrey Ave N. When officers arrived, the suspect had already fled the residence. The victims were able to give a description of the suspect. Officers gave a BOLO for the area and located an individual matching the description of the suspect in the 800 block of Sanders Ave NE. The suspect was identified as Jerimah Daniel Sharrow, age 27 of Fort Payne. Sharrow still had in his possession items taken from the residence. During the investigation Sharrow was charged with Burglary 3rd and Public Intoxication and is currently being held in the Fort Payne Police Department jail waiting to be transferred to the Dekalb County Detention Center. Chief Detective York states the investigation is on going and more charges could follow.
