HUNTSVILLE POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, has claimed the life of a Flat Rock man. Barry D. Dunn, 59, was fatally injured when the 2010 Buick Lacrosse he was driving left the roadway, striking several trees, prior to striking an embankment and then a culvert before overturning. Dunn was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 117, near the 26 mile marker approximately two miles northwest of Flat Rock, in Jackson County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
