MARHSALL COUNTY, AL. – The preliminary survey from the the National Weather Service Office in Huntsville, Al. has confirmed an EF-1 Tornado touched down in Marshall County this morning. With estimated winds of 90-100 miles per hour. The tornado caused damage around the Highpoint Road between Guntersville and Douglas, Section Line Road, and around the Walmart Supercenter and Cracker Barrel area on Hwy 431 in Guntersville. Only 3 non-life threatening injuries were reported so far with this tornado in Marshall county.
