The Qualifying period for all elected candidates for the Dekalb County Republican Primary Election opens on October 16th and will run thru November 10th 2023. All candidates that are interested in running for the upcoming terms will need to meet with Party Chairman David Gulledge to file the forms for consideration to be on the ballot in the March 5th 2024 Primary Election.
Chairman Gulledge will be located at the Dekalb County Probate Judge’s Courtroom at the County Courthouse on Monday, Oct. 16th and Tuesday Oct. 17th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. He will also be there on November 10th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for the closing day of Qualifying. You can call him at 256-996-5031 to schedule an appointment on those days or anytime up until Closing of Qualifying. He will have all of the necessary forms available for the County positions and for the Ethics Commission.
