DeKalb County Technology Center’s Welding Program recently competed in Calhoun Community College’s Annual High Welding Contest. Caleb Lyles and Evan Woodall both placed in the beginners contest with Woodall placing first and Lyles third place. Lyles and Woodall received numerous welding supplies and welding helmets.
DeKalb County Career Tech Supervisor states, “that it’s great anytime our students get the opportunity to complete and place their skills against other talented students. Competitions only make the students better at the trade and prepares them for the real world.” Great Job Caleb, Evan, and Mr. Russ McFall.
