PISGAH, Al. — Jackson County officials have announced an upcoming bridge closure that will impact traffic along County Road 88 Loop in Pisgah beginning later this month.
According to Jackson County Public Works, the bridge located between addresses 11190 and 11082 on County Road 88 Loop will be closed for replacement starting Monday, March 30, 2026.
The closure is expected to remain in place continuously for the duration of the project, which is anticipated to take approximately three months to complete. Officials note that the timeline could change depending on weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists who regularly travel through the area are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure period.
Jackson County Public Works stated that the bridge replacement is necessary to ensure long-term safety and infrastructure reliability. The department also apologized for any inconvenience the closure may cause to residents and travelers.
