GADSDEN POST — A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:49 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, has claimed the life of a Collinsville man. Drakken T. Graham, 20, was fatally injured when the 2018 Nissan Altima, in which he was a passenger, was struck by the 2021 Ram 2500 driven by Christopher P. Brigman, 46, of Dallas, Ga. Graham was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Nissan, Hunter T. Haygood, 21, of Leesburg, and a passenger in the Ram, Jennifer L. Chitwood, 45, of Dallas, Ga., were both injured and transported to Floyd Medical Center, in Rome, Ga. for treatment.
The crash occurred on U.S. 411 near the 252 mile marker, approximately eight miles east of Centre, in Cherokee County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
