According to the Rainsville Police Department, a morning traffic accident claimed a Rainsville mans life.
On June 24, 2020, the Rainsville Police Department responded to a traffic accident on McCurdy Ave South, near George Wallace Ave. Officers arrived and began first aid until the Rainsville Fire department medics arrived and took over care for the patients.
The crash involved (1) one fatality. Jason Moss of Rainsville passed away from his injuries as a result of the crash. The other driver was transported to Marshall Medical South for his injuries. The driver was treated and released. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
